Following the successful Kickstarter campaign of the TOMORROW MYTH Endangered Animal Enamel Pins, llab design ltd is proud to announce the next evolution of its IP brand with the upcoming launch of "Jungle King" this May. Inspired by the Shanhaijing (The Classic of Mountains and Seas), this project elevates the traditional game of Animal Chess into a grander "New Shanhaijing" universe.
A Tribute to the Vanishing Much like the endangered animals it portrays, the traditional game of Animal Chess—a beloved Asian tabletop game cherished by many as a childhood memory—is quietly fading from modern life. TOMORROW MYTH aims to revive this "simple yet profoundly strategic" game through a visionary lens, inviting players to rediscover the beauty of these creatures and the stories behind their survival.
Craftsmanship Meets Natural Strategy Building on the meticulous craftsmanship of the previous enamel pin series, each metallic game piece in Jungle King is expertly designed by llab design ltd. These pieces blend Asian mythical elements with a premium, tactile weight, making it feel as though you are holding an ancient legend in your palm. To add tactical depth, the game introduces "Nature Strategy Cards" inspired by environmental elements such as floods and natural disasters, allowing players to shift the tides of battle.
From Data to Myth: The Vision "Our mission at TOMORROW MYTH was born from an observation: most reports on endangered species focus on cold data—declining numbers and percentages," say founders Tryde Leung and Mike Wong. "However, numbers rarely inspire long-lasting empathy. Mythology and storytelling, on the other hand, possess the power to be remembered and passed down through generations."
This philosophy drives the brand to merge vanishing treasures with contemporary aesthetics. Jungle King marks the beginning of a grander journey to build a "New Shanhaijing" universe, where future creations will continue to honor real-world endangered animals as legendary mythical beasts.

繼先前 TOMORROW MYTH「瀕臨絕種動物」系列襟章在 Kickstarter 取得圓滿成功後，設計單位 llab design ltd 宣布將於今年五月推出 IP 品牌 TOMORROW MYTH | 明日神話 的全新項目 —— 《Jungle King 鬥獸棋》。本作以東方神話的想像與《山海經》的美術筆觸，重新詮釋那些正面臨消失的瀕危動物，讓牠們化身為充滿象徵與力量的神獸。
這款曾陪伴我們長大的經典遊戲（鬥獸棋），如同瀕臨絕種的動物一樣，正默默地從日常生活中淡出。我們希望透過全新的設計，帶領大家重新認識這款「簡單、純粹、卻充滿策略」的好遊戲，並在對弈之間，進一步走進瀕危動物的故事背景。

延續襟章系列對金屬工藝的極致追求，每一枚《Jungle King》金屬棋子皆由 llab design ltd 精心打造，揉合多種亞洲神話元素，質感沉穩且細節耐看，彷彿將遠古傳說握於掌心。棋盤採用高品質可摺疊磁吸設計，兼具收藏美感與遊玩便利性。為了豐富對局層次，我們特別加入以大自然為靈感的「策略卡牌」，引入如洪水氾濫、自然災害等題材，讓玩家在千變萬化的戰局中扭轉乾坤，為傳統玩法注入更深層的策略思考。
